A Step-by-Step Guide on How to Integrate Tidio with WhatsApp for Seamless Communication

Businesses can now handle WhatsApp messages right from the Tidio panel, offering individualized and effective service, thanks to the interface between Tidio and WhatsApp. This connection will improve client communication and help you to optimize your customer care procedures.

Requirements:

Having access to Business Manager on Facebook

Every company must have access to Facebook Business Manager in order to link with WhatsApp. You will not be able to integrate with WhatsApp if you do not have access to it.

You are able to make a new account if you do not already have a Facebook Business Manager. But be aware that within the first 24 hours, there may be certain use limitations.

WhatsApp phone number

The phone number has to be a working number that satisfies the following requirements:

You are the owner of the phone number and it is registered in your company’s name. Using your own phone number is not appropriate.
Both phone calls and SMS can be received at the given number.
Before connecting Tidio with WhatsApp, you will need to remove your number from the account that is now being used and uninstall WhatsApp Messenger from your phone device if it is being used inside the app.

Business details and legal address

The following details are necessary for Tidio and WhatsApp integration:

  • Name of your business, which will appear to every visitor you interact with.
  • Legal business name.
  • The official address of your company.
